“A Face In The Crowd” is
based in Hagerstown, Maryland, where Laura Lydia resides with her husband,
two children, dogs, cat, lizards and crickets. The clan is always busy
with some artistic endeavor or eternal investigation taking various forms
including drawing, painting, ballooning, gardening, cooking, reading,
storytelling, scientific/ biological and mathematical inquiry, animal
husbandry, “what if” discussions, video/x-box challenges,
or simple perusal of the excellent medium of cartoons. When not engaged
“hands-on” with familial activities, Ms. Phillips can regularly
be seen working throughout the surrounding tri-state area at corporate
socials, parties for adults and children, fundraisers, promotions, and
festivals. Lydia is associated with other fine quality entertainers who
can join her in working for larger, more elaborate events where maximum
festivity and merriment is de rigueur. She is willing to travel for gala
